Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering this month’s box is valued at $38.50) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop (product links within this post) with every purchase, review, and friend rec. Compassionate and affordable—pretty sweet, right?
July’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
The Poetic Blend The Hero Oil,* $10 – Beauty oils are bae. This one is nothing short of exquisite. It’s made with plant-derived squalane oil, apricot kernel oil, calendula herb oil, Monoi de Tahiti oil (fahhnsay!), grape seed oil, and a proprietary blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils. I love that it’s super lightweight and that you can use this as a moisturizer, makeup remover, massage oil, etc., and it smells so beautiful. It’s “subtly infused with Eucalyptus which carries the top notes of a crisp and ‘camphoraceous’ aroma, and has slight undertones of fresh Gardenia, along with back notes of Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli.” The packaging + branding is ace, too!
Lilfox Kalahari Eye Serum,* $14 – Petit Vour is after my beauty oil-lovin’ heart this month, f’realz! I’m in my 30s, and my under eye region is especially a concern of mine. I will pay top dollar for eye serums and creams that aim to effectively moisturize, de-puff, lighten, and brighten! You only need a single drop for both eyes. The rockstar ingredient is Kalahari oil cold pressed from African watermelon seeds. It’s rich in Omega 6 and Omega 9 fatty acids that help Repair oxidative damage and promote a youthful glow. Just like the Hero Oil above, it’s super lightweight and absorbs into the skin easily.
Fior Minerals “Sweets” Organic Ignite Illuminator, $12 – This all-natural, light-reflecting cream provides a subtle dewy look, perfect for the top of cheek bones, inner eyes, bridge of nose, cupids bow, etc. It’s a super soft pink with a hint of shimmer (swatched below on ring finger), and it blends like dream. It’s made with nourishing plant-based butters, oils and waxes – feels incredible on the skin.
Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk,$2.50 – Juice Beauty is one of my favorite vegan-friendly beauty brands. Their products are made with highly effective, certified organic ingredients that are loaded with anti-aging properties. This creamy formula cleanses and removes makeup and has skin-lovin’ neroli, grape seed oil, chamomile, and calendula. The cleanser is especially great for sensitive and dry skin.
* = PV faves
Overall impression: Lots of value in this month’s box – $38.50 for $15 (with free shipping, yee-haw!). Box faves definitely include the two beauty oils: The Poetic Blend The Hero Oil and Lilfox Kalahari Eye Serum – loooooove the sh*t out of these. I’m gonna save up for full size versions fo’ sho!
